The nation’s financial crisis has revealed that women at all income levels, especially those with low to moderate skills, have exhibited difficulty in managing their finances and are ill prepared to weather economic stresses. Women urgently need more information and tools to recover financially and steward their financial resources. Another Level For Women delivers our workshop program to our participants. These workshops are a requirement for all clients who apply for utility assistance. It's also exciting to be able to reach out to low-income women who may not otherwise have access to this information. Our program is helping meet the unique financial needs of women and equipping them with banking skills and tools to better understand and manage their financial future, and helps women overcome a lack of confidence and self-worth by giving them the tools necessary to take control of their financial future. When they feel that there is "no way out" we illuminate the path.
We utilize community partners such as Union Bank, County of San Bernardino, and Springboard Nonprofit Consumer Credit Management, Inc to facilitate workshops for our clients. Springboard takes great pride in their delivery of the PEARLS (Preserving, Earning, and Acquiring Real Life Skills) financial series to the ladies enrolled in our program
Because of Another Level For Women's commitment and hard work, the financial literacy program is promoting and enhancing the vital development of women by instilling a sense of competence, economic empowerment, and social development.
